As you can see this IWC Ingenieur SL Automatic with White Graph paper dial is presented in superb condition (possibly unpolished) as you can see from the photos. The watch has a purchase date of 08/02/1988 and comes complete with original IWC box (not period correct) and IWC Service/Authenticity certificate from when it was serviced & Authenticated by IWC UK on 22/11/2023 . The watch is running perfectly and keeping excellent time as you would expect.

This 1970's Gerald Genta designed steel sports watch with a lower production run than the Royal Oak 5402 and the Nautilus 3800, comes on an integrated bracelet that is water resistant to 120m and can withstand magnetic fields up to 1000 Gauss. So really, a pre-call to all the great aspects of what people love about steel sports watches these days.

There were five generations of the IWC Ingenieur this one being the 3rd generation 'Skinny' reference 3506 which come with an ETA 2892-A movement inside and produced only between 1985-89 on steel or bi-metal and only around 800 or so were produced (as stated sever online sources). Finding one in this condition is very rare and almost impossible if you can find one, I'd say snap it up while you can.
